Ingredients:

For the chicken:


4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts


Salt and pepper, to taste


2 tbsp olive oil


4 cloves garlic, minced


1 tsp paprika


1 tsp dried oregano


Juice of 1 lemon


Zest of 1 lemon


For the creamy sauce:


1 cup heavy cream


½ cup chicken broth


½ cup grated Parmesan cheese


1 tbsp cornstarch (optional, for thickening)


Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


For the rice:


1 ½ cups long-grain rice


3 cups water or chicken broth


1 tbsp butter


Pinch of salt


Instructions:


Cook the rice:


Rinse rice under cold water. In a saucepan, bring water or broth, butter, and salt to a boil. Add rice, reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 18–20 minutes. 🍚 (Duration: 20 minutes)


Prepare the chicken:


Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, paprika, and oregano. (Duration: 2 minutes)


In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sear chicken until golden brown on both sides, about 5 minutes per side. πŸ” (Duration: 10 minutes)


Remove chicken and set aside.


Make the sauce:


In the same skillet, add garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Add lemon juice, zest, chicken broth, and cream. Stir well. πŸ‹ (Duration: 3 minutes)


Bring to a simmer, then stir in Parmesan cheese. If thicker sauce is desired, mix cornstarch with a little water and stir in. (Duration: 4 minutes)

Serve:
