๐ŸŸ Cod in Lemon Butter Caper Sauce ๐Ÿ‹


Ingredients:

- 4 cod fillets

- 2 tablespoons butter

- 2 tablespoons lemon juice

- 2 tablespoons capers, drained

- 1/4 cup white wine

- 1/4 cup heavy cream

- Salt and pepper to taste

- Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)


Instructions:

1. Pat the cod fillets dry and season with salt and pepper.

2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium-high heat.

3. Add the cod fillets and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.

4. Remove the cod fillets from the skillet and set aside.

5. In the same skillet, add the lemon juice, capers, white wine, and heavy cream. Stir to combine.

6. Bring the sauce to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until slightly thickened.

7. Return the cod fillets to the skillet and spoon the sauce over the top.

8. Garnish with chopped parsley, if desired.

9. Serve immediately and enjoy!
