- 200 g mussels
- 200 g shrimp, peeled & deveined
- 200 g firm white fish (e.g., cod or monkfish), cut into chunks
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp chili flakes (optional)
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley & lemon wedges for garnish
Instructions:
- Sautรฉ Base → Heat olive oil in a cataplana (or large lidded skillet). Add onion, garlic, and peppers. Cook until soft.
- Build Sauce → Stir in tomatoes, paprika, bay leaf, wine, and stock. Simmer 10 minutes.
- Add Seafood → Layer fish, shrimp, mussels, and clams. Season with salt, pepper, and chili flakes. Close lid and cook 10–15 minutes, until shellfish open.
- Serve → Garnish with parsley and lemon wedges. Serve hot with crusty bread — or cauliflower rice for a low-carb option.
