Crispy fish, creamy guacamole, tangy remoulade, and golden fries all tucked into zucchini boats, eggplant boats, and toasted bread “ships.” A playful twist on the classic — perfect as party food or a fun family dinner! ๐

For the Fish & Chips:

200g white fish fillet (cod/haddock), cut into cubes

½ cup flour

1 tsp paprika

½ tsp garlic powder

Salt, to taste

Oil, for shallow frying

1 cup matchstick fries, fried until golden
For the Guacamole:

1 ripe avocado, mashed

1 tbsp lime juice

1 tbsp diced red onion

1 tbsp cilantro, chopped

For the Remoulade:

¼ cup mayo

1 tbsp Dijon mustard

1 tsp capers, minced

1 tsp relish

½ tsp smoked paprika
-
1 tsp lemon juice

1️⃣ Prepare the Bases:

Roast zucchini & eggplant boats at 400°F (200°C) for 12–15 mins until just tender.

Lightly toast bread boats until crisp.
2️⃣ Cook the Fish:

Toss fish cubes in seasoned flour.

Shallow-fry 2–3 mins until golden. Drain.
3️⃣ Make Sauces:

Guac: Mash avocado + lime + onion + cilantro + salt.

Remoulade: Mix mayo + Dijon + capers + relish + paprika + lemon.
4️⃣ Assemble the Ships:

Spread guac inside each zucchini, eggplant, or bread boat.

Add crispy fish cubes + drizzle remoulade.
