๐Ÿ›’ Ingredients
For the Beef Rolls:

  • 1 lb (450g) thin beef slices (top round or flank steak)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/4 cup whole wheat breadcrumbs
  • 1 tbsp pine nuts (optional)
  • Salt & pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (for searing)

For the Tomato Sauce:

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (28 oz / 800 g) crushed tomatoes
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp dried basil
  • Salt & pepper
  • Fresh basil leaves (optional garnish)

๐Ÿ‘จ‍๐Ÿณ Instructions
1️⃣ Mix Filling – Combine garlic, parsley, Parmesan, breadcrumbs, pine nuts, salt & pepper.
2️⃣ Roll & Secure – Spread filling on beef slices, roll tightly, secure with toothpicks/twine.
3️⃣ Sear – Heat olive oil, brown rolls 2–3 min per side. Remove & set aside.
4️⃣ Make Sauce – In same pan, sautรฉ onion 5 min, add garlic 1 min. Stir in tomatoes, oregano, basil, salt & pepper.
5️⃣ Simmer Together – Return beef rolls to sauce, cover, cook on low 45–60 min until tender.
6️⃣ Serve – Remove toothpicks, garnish with fresh basil. Enjoy with whole wheat pasta, zucchini noodles, or steamed veggies.
